Summertime

I had a busy summer! lots of playing with friends and trips.

we were gone three weeks out of this summer.

First we went to Bryce Canyon with my grandma and grandpa Wilkey

Then we went to St. George.

We went into a wildlife museum

And we went to see a play at the Tuachan theater. It was Footloose, and now it's my favorite!

Then we went to Nephi to relax and swim. I love to swim, it is my favorite thing about summer.

My birthday came soon after we got back. I turned 9. We had lots of people over for my birthday, it was lots of fun.


We also went to the zoo a few times

And then we went to Yellowstone with our cousin Nathan

And now I'm back at school. My teachers name is Miss. Curtis

I'm excited to see my friends again!

First trip to the park this spring

We finally got to go to the park!

Can't wait for spring!

Wishing For Summer

I like writing poems.

In class we did a 5 senses poem.

This is mine, and a picture I drew to go with it.

Summer!

Smells like freshly cut grass everywhere.

Looks like sand in the sun.

Feels like the hot hot sand in your toes.

Tastes like hot dogs and hamburgers fresh off the grill.

Sounds like fireworks at night.
